This private retreat in the San Juan’s is part of Decatur Northwest, an island community that has a common respect for preserving wildlife habitat and the environment. This unique project involved planning for access to the island by private boat only. The residence sits on the edge of a cliff and is highly exposed to the elements. NOVO weatherized the exterior trim using a solid body stain to help protect against sun and salt water.
